Disability

Disability insurance is a type of insurance coverage that provides income replacement for individuals who are unable to work due to a disability or illness. It is designed to provide financial protection and support in case you become disabled and are unable to earn an income for an extended period.

Disability insurance provides financial support when you’re unable to work due to maternity leave or an unexpected illness or an accident, helping cover lost income during recovery.

Disability insurance is commonly used for maternity leave, offering partial wage replacement for a set period, typically six to eight weeks after childbirth. Some policies also provide benefits before birth if complications arise.

In the case of an unexpected illness or accident, disability insurance coverage can kick in if a medical condition prevents you from working, ensuring financial stability while you focus on healing.

Having disability insurance means you can prioritize your health or your newborn without worrying about lost income.
